As some may know, I got my 1990 Mazda 626 DX 2.2L fuel injection 4cyl ATX with 147K miles on it at a police auction in April of 06. I didn't have much time and/or money to work on her until recently. Here are some pics of the Exterior.

I am tinting the tail lights. It is an original one of a kind design, and I actually like how it looks. Plus, its a cheap mod, only costing about $10!

The left taillight is not aimed right so the previous owner decided to stick a piece of wood to prop it up.

There is a hole in the turning signal on this side, it still works, but looks quite ghetto and I hope to fix it sometime.
EDIT: Have done a lot to her and figured out a lotta stuff, just havent updated it in a while. I fixed the drivers side turn signal, lowered her with Eibach pro-springs (1.3in in front and 1.0in in back). I also got it figured why my rebuild of the atx didnt fix the speedo problem, I need a new drive gear, which is on the differential gear, which i just happen to have a spare one lying around (long story). I now just need time to put it in. Also I'm cutting out the holes in the front, where the puny 4in speakers went, and making them able to fit a 5.25in Sony Xplod's that I have installed as my rear speakers. Then Im making those holes in the back larger, to fit a 6.25in or 6x9's. I have 2 amps and 2 subs - a 12in pioneer running off the main 700w amp and a 10in off-brand running from my sole sub amp, which is also an offbrand, but pretty powerful at 200w. I have also installed cheap, but decent, tweeters on either side, right beside the headrest on the column in between the doors. Also, I have cleaned the rear bumper of all the bumper stickers and bumper sticker residue. I had my lights aimed correctly, so I didnt need the little piece of wood, but then I hit a girl from my school, which also knocked out the front grill and dented the front bumper a bit. I pulled that out and now the bumper is back to normal, the lights are a little low, but still within range, and I could put the bumper back in. But honestly, it looks much better w/o it and it allows for more cool air to pass through which more effectively cools the radiator - so im just leaving it off. I installed illuma-bright fog lights directly under my lights, which makes it look beastly. I HAVE NOT tinted the tail lights yet, but do have the tinting spray on hand to do it, which I will do this Thanksgiving vacation - possibly. I got rid of the stickers everywhere on my car and got the residue off as well, and have also gotten rid of the ugly and tacky white fuzzy dice. I am buying new carpet and will redo that soon. I have also installed a new alternator (from when my old one went bad) and replaced the alt belt and powersteering/waterpump belt as well. I put a Voltmeter in my dash for when I am driving at night and have my lights (both fog and regular), my sound system, and my heat on I can see how much pressure is being applied on the alt/batt. I was also going to get an ampmeter, but they both have the same basic funtion and I have no where else really to put it. I bought some "strap on" racing pedals because my pedals on the surface was wearing out and my foot, if it was wet because of rain, would just slip off. The racing pedals give my foot something to grip - so no I didnt buy them to look cool or be a ricer.
!!!!!!!!!!!UPDATE!!!!!!: I have finally gotten around to updating my lil' daily driver. In Feb of 07 I had a little fender bender and wouldn't you know it - more happened to my car than the other guys. It just bent the bumper a bit and took out the front plastic piece. However, I took the bumper off that summer and pulled it back out, and secured it so it wouldn't have the indent. I also left the plastic bumper off so that more air could flow and it actually runs a lot cooler, especially in summer. I also put some fog lights on that work great and I fixed the left headlight so that I didn't need that piece of wood anymore.... I also decided not to paint the tail lights. I'm going to do it on my mustang and see how it turns out. If I like it a lot, or it adds a lot to the apperance, I'll take the time to do it to my little faithfull daily driver.
