Overhauling my friend's 57.The car originaly was 210 2door sedan w/Lsix, now it has 350/350 power plant,PS,PB.

I've been working hard on her body over a year to make her a real sharp, cute, fine example.Working on 55 and 56 is a piece of cake comparing to 57s.
Most painful thing is introducing new body trim and moldings to and old 57 body.
The orignal colour was Colonial Cream /Ivory.
But my friend said he had always envied Bel Air aluminum side inserts...
...and bumper guards and his favourite colour is blue. So, I name the car Bluemix.
It took almost a week to perfectly fit brand new bezel.57s need alot of "hammer into shape" thing.
And again hood bar extensions. Its really hard job to fit it all to fender, bumper, headlight and hood perfectly.
Actually, most blame can be put on reproduction parts. This new hood rocket backing plate for example, has a defect (look closer at middle groove)and doesn't fit to the bonnet as I dream.
Finally tinted windows arrived, and lamb skin seat covers applied ('55 convertible style)

And,,,engine compartment is inspected by "Pitir" the kitten:)
