Vehicle Description The Curb, 1948 Chevrolet 3100. Compleat frame off restoration. All body parts were stripped of paint in chemical strip at PST company. Frame is fully boxed all stock cross members removed and replaced with 2x4 square tubing. Mustang II front suspension power rack, Two inch dropped spindles Street rod engineering crossmember. Rear end is ford 8" 2.79 gear ratio, parallel leaf springs at the rear inboard and reverse for a low stance. This truck can be driven anywere no trailer queen. The cab has been chopped 2" Rain gutters shaved. All emblems shaved, Door handles shaved. hide out button and remote door solenoids, Ron Francis wiring, power windows, cruise control, Vintage Air, Kenwood CD, Auto Meter ultra light gauges, Gray tweed interior. The body mods are Custom bed, rear of bed is raised to accept 22 gal, fuel cell, and Tubs for fat TA radials. Rear bumper center has been cut for plate and filler panels fabricated. All metal on bed and panels are 14 gauge. Head lights are frenched, Fire wall is smoothed of all holes. Radiator is walker and custom cover for it. Engine is chevy 305 1976 vintage, completly rebuilt,Edelbrock 500cmf carb Performer intake block hugger headers, ball milled valve covers, flow master exhaust. Wheels are TQ by stockton wheel, truck can be seen on there web site, 15x7 front 15x10 rear TA.s all around. colors are PPG concept light & dark aqua, Graphics and pin strip by Ron Beam. Has been safety inspected every year since completed at NSRA and has recieved 23 pin every time.
