First few pictures taken of my car after I got it.

xCobalt05x's 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt

Originaly I went to the dealer to pick up a used car. I was coming home from Tomahawk school in San Diego (April 2005) and needed to buy a car for while I was going to be Stationed in Virginia. When I got to the dealer I seen this nice sunfire that had a body kit on it and a turbo system. For some reason I couldnt get financed on the used car. So the dealer said lets try to get you a new car. He told me to come back tomorrow and he will show me what he could come up with.
When I showed up the next day he said how about a brand new cobalt. He got me a Silver fully loaded LS. I mean everything from OnStar to leather. I said sure lets go for it. It was suppose to have been there later that day but it never showed up. I went back the next day and it still wasn't there. I told him look, I have to report to my next Duty station and I need a car. He told me to come back later that day and he would see what he could do.
Well I went back and I saw what I expected to see, no silver cobalt, but what I did see was a red one sitting there by the front door w/ the new car lable in the window. As I walked inside I asked him if that was my replacement, he was like yep, wanna take it for a spin. I told him no, you can just tell me about it. It had everything the silver one had minus the OnStar and leather.
At first I didnt think much of this car for tuning, but as I started researching about Chevy racing teams getting that kind of power out of the 2.2L ecotec, that was when I relaized I stumbled accross what could become one hell of a machine. One thing I found was GM's ECOTEC build guide on how to take it from stock 2.2L all the way to 1400+hp 2.2L. Not what my goals are but this book is helping me to get to where I want to be.
