This is my car, a 1982 Mustang GT that I purchased in 1989 and am the second owner of. The car originally came from Arlington, Tx and was brought to Canada by the first owner.
Although I never drove my car in the winter, after 23 years the car was starting to show its age. In 2005, my husband and I decided to resto/mod it as I couldn't bring myself to part with the car. After working 8 months non-stop on it ourselves (except for spraying the paint), this is the end result.
From beginning to end, here is the record of the entire project.
Stripping the body down to bare metal.

Stripping the entire interior out of the car.

The custom blend Sikkens paint is sprayed by the boys at Artisan Autobody.

Reassembly with new parts begins.

I'm also a Calgary boy. I was just wondering what you do in regards to getting parts from the US, and if it bothers you paying so much for shipping, and some times even more then the price of the item
