I got my new toy on April 21st, 2006! This is this year's birthday present to go along with the one I got last year (2005 Black Pearl xB).

I got the limited edition 2006 Release Series 3.0 with the happy "Envy Green" paint color. A friend at the dealership called me when it came into the and my husband and I went to see it right before closing. I fell in LOVE! But when we went in the next day, they had put it on the showroom and heaven-forbid...someone else was seconds away from trying to purchase it.

Well like any decent female...I went "after Christmas shopping" on him and walked right up to the dealer, identified myself as the one who was going to buy it, and began to rattle off all of the people I knew at the dealership and how I had already secured this car.

Totally threw the other buyer off. He was all flustered. Then he came back...but he knew it was mine since he walked away.

Yeah for Type A aggression...because now it was MINE!!!

My husband and I got a great deal at Fry's on a sub/amp combo package. Not only was Fry's cheaper than had we bought the kit elsewhere but the guys gave us an extra 20% off...so for under $150 we got this package:

I know its not the best in quality but it was cheap and easy and it matches the ENVY GREEN (I was channeling Martha Stewart on this purchase).

5/4/06 - Scion upgrades added

Installed the Envy Green Front Strut Tie Bar (pics to come)

Thanks for the comments. From the looks of it you will catch up with me very quickly in the mod department and I have had mine 2-1/2 years. Takes much more time being a DIY'er, but as my wife says, "It keeps me off the streets". Use the plate frame if you like. I doubt if we will be parked next to each other any time soon, to where someone would think that all the xB's come with that frame. Again, nice RS-3. I have checked one out on the lot, and they look awesome. Enjoy the BOX.
