This is my 1981 Datsun 280zx that I just recently finished restoring. It has a bored and stroked 2.8 liter inline 6 engine (3.1L now). The engine has a performance cam, cold air intake, header with side pipes, ported head, and performance ignition. I also put a body kit on it and gave the whole thing a new paint job. I basically just cleaned up and replaced a few carpets in the interior and it turned out really good. It has been a good pr oject and the car definitely turns heads.
My goal was to make the car look as clean as possible. That is why I went with the Motorsport Aero body kit, which I think really blends the car together. In keeping with the theme of a clean look I shaved off the rear wiper, rear sprayer, and license plate light, put Nite shade on all the lights except for the head lights, and added head light covers. I added the side pipes because they look really good, sound really good, and they are true dual exhaust.
I put a lot of work into the engine and the engine compartment. During the restoration I basically riped everything out of the engine bay and started over. The car originally had cruise control, air conditioning, etc., but I wanted a very clean engine compartment, so I removed all of that. To dress up the engine bay, as much as possible, I did a lot of body work, repainted and clear coated, and either repainted or chromed all the engine components in the engine compartment. I rebuilt an engine over the coarse of a couple months to swap in for the stock engine during restoration.
New Fuel Rail!!! and Accessories

Heres the interior of the car. Nothing to special yet, but I have plans to make it different. The interior now is just clean with a decent sound system. I have plans to put a full alpine system in with two subs in a custom fiber class enclosure. I have already started working on it, that is why in the back of the car you see some panels missing.

Will be buying wheels and tires soon. Looking at getting 17X7 Konig Sideways Wheels rolin on Yokohama AVS ES100's. I have to buy wheel adapters, because wheels that fit a Z are hard to find. It is a rear wheel drive four lug pattern wheel. It is easy to find a five lug that fits rear wheels drive cars, but I need adapters to make the Konigs fit wheels fit.
If you are interested in buying it, feel free to e-mail me or leave me a message.
