This is 5x Racing. 5x Racing is a race team out of central Florida founded by John Adamczyk and his father Rick. We are currently competing in the Southeast Division SCCA Spec Miata class with our 1991 British Racing Green Miata. It has all of the necessary racing modifications, all top of the line safety equipment, and is pretty neat. The car is limited in modifications as it has to conform to a very strict set of rules in order to keep the Spec Miata class true to it's grassroots. The Spec Miata class is intended to be a cheap way into competitive road racing while still maintaining fierce competition. The cars are equally prepared to ensure the playing field is equal, and therefore modifications are kept to a minimum to promote low cost. These little cars are very impressive even without the big horsepower that bigger cars have. I was very surprised to see Spec Miata's outhandling and outbraking vipers, vettes, and prepped mustangs (including my own).
