This is my 19 year old baby though I havn't had it for all 19 years. I has just under 80K miles on it and the engine is still elegantly strong. The paint is orginal but there are a few impefections like the mirrors have some minor scratches. Everything is in working condition for the most part. I just always love driving this car as I know everyone who has can share my lust. I truly value the ethinicity of this car and can't say enough about German engineering. So here is the car all around...

Hopefully this summer I will get a detail job professional done and then within the next two years decide to repaint the entire surface. Although I would like to change the color, no plans are final so I am open to any suggestions.

The only unfortunately thing in this picture is the broken rear window wiper motor. It has been inactive for a while and due to extremly high maintainence cost of motor repair for that part, it is highly improbable that I will look into fixing it. I might even consider removing it altogether considering that I have never used it since purchasing the car.

Your car seems to be in pretty good shape and looks good. The mileage is very low for a car of its age. I, too, have a 1987 944 with similar mileage. It's amazing how quickly you can put money into these things. Mine is not my primary mode of transportation, but it is a lot of fun to go back and forth to work. Check out my page if/when you get the chance. Once again, nice car.

hey nice 944. i am pondering whether to get one myself. i have a 92 bmw (you can see it on my site) and i am just debating if i should sell my beamer to get a 1986 porsche 944. is your 944 reliable? what kind of gas mileage does it get? is it a good daily driver? your answer will be highly appreciated. thank you
