This is a list of all the things done to the car so far...not bad for one summer
Front & rear bumpers are off.
The Grill and Head-Light bezels are out.
Both Front & Back seats are out.
The carpet is out.
The headliner is out.
The Dash, Dash Plate, Dash pad and gauges are out.
The glove-box and liner are out.
The dome light is out.
The rear window defrost system is gone.
All 3 speakers are out.
Heater vents are out.
Heater core and filter are out.
Winshield wipers are off.
All chrome is off.
All windows are out.
Front passenger fender and both doors are sanded to bare metal.
Roof is scuffed and sanded smooth.
All paint is stripped off. Thanks to my Bro!!! :)
Floor pans and door jams are lightly sanded.
Vynal top is off.
All Emblems are off.
Hood scoops are off.
Door panels are taken out.
Sun visors are off.
Side mirror & rear view mirror are off.
Tranny is out.
Drive shaft is out.
All hardware in the engine bay is out.
All electrical is marked.
THE CAR IS FINALLY GOING OUT FOR PAINT!!!
Thats about all I can think of right now, but check back for updates.
The Dash and Dash pad are out but in this pic the dash frame and pad is still there.
When my Dad and I drained the tranny the oil was clear so everything inside should be in good working order. I was plesently surprized when we scraped some of the crud off and found out the tranny was originaly HEMI orange.

The gauges are in perfect shape.

Memo to all car restorers don't buy cars that might have tones of putty on them unless your really serious about restoring them!!! It can be quite SCARRY!?! HAHA......No really, Look how scarry it is!!!

I was speechless when I found this much putty on the quarters. I needed to see how the quarters looked to see if I need to replace or repair them. It's a no brainer.... I'm going to replace them. (THERE WAS LOTS OF RUST AND EVEN MORE PUTTY!!!) (Driver quarter)
