Before you scroll down to check out the car I just want to give some advice to all the people who are looking to buy a MOPAR and restore it. I got this saying from an old MOPAR collector and enthusiast and this is what he said... REMEMBER: THE CAR YOU JUST LOOKED AT TODAY, AND WANT TO THINK ABOUT IT TILL TOMORROW, IS THE SAME CAR THAT SOMEONE LOOKED AT YESTERDAY AND IS GOING TO BUY TODAY.

70340swinger's 1970 Dodge Dart

Hey hows everybody doing and thanks for checking out my car. I'm Josh Wiebe, I'm 17 years old and this is my 70 Dart Swinger 340 4-speed car. This was my 16th birthday present. Am I lucky or what!!!? I'm currently in the process of restoring it. As you will soon see. It's a rare car. It's all original from factory with funtional hood scoops, bone stock 275HP 340 4bbl, A-833 4 speed trany with HURST shifter, posi 8 3/4 rear end, Rallye Dash, Bench Seat, Black Vynal top and Black Bumble-Bee stripe. The entire car is #'s matching with the original build sheet. A 70 Dart has been my dream car for some time now and now that dream is unfolding but untill the car is completed and drivable I'm going to have to work my ass off. Now I have a question for all you car enthusists... I'm planning on getting two sets of rims for the car, a set of Weld Racing Pro-Star rims and a set of Stockton Wheel original reproduction Rallyes wich all sounds good but my delema is that I don't know which to order first? So leave a message in the guest book and tell me what you think?
Take a look around and enjoy and remember before you leave, rate the car and leave a message in my guestbook!
:)!!!THANKS!!!:)

Who ever did that putty job must've used a cement mixer! I can't believe that who ever did that, didn't think "Gee maybe this is too much putty to put on a car".

Sweet ride, have a friend with a 70 Dart. He's in the process of big blocking it. Purchased dual scoops for the hood but didn't come with measurements, if you get a chance could you drop me a line? How far from the back of the hood and distance from the sides.

Thanks, keep up the great work.

a definte good start to restoring a true Mopar classic. I would go to the rally wheels, but then again I like original. Good luck with a worthy project.
