I look forward to performing some minor repairs & restoring my car later this year. Getting out of debt is my #1 goal currently, so in the meantime I'm going to drive my mother's 04 Civic while I let the Lude sleep in the garage.I also came across a JDM Prelude gauge cluster on Ebay for only $135. I've seen this sucker for about $400 on some sites. Finally I can get rid of the AT one. Now I just hope the needles on it match my reverse indigo gauge overlay.- LM777 __________________________________________________________________________________Update 8-28-08I had to go with a pristine (22k miles) stock Prelude transmission. The 5th gear on the Euro-R Accord tranny was having issues & an exact replacement part couldn't be found. Anyways, I have the LSD from the old transmission installed as well as a new clutch & flywheel.- LM777__________________________________________________________________________________Update 7-29-08New clutch & flywheel coming soon as well as a slight overall page redesign. Clutch - ACT Heavy Duty Pressure Plate w/Performance Street Disc (HA3-HDSS) Flywheel - ACT Streetlite flywheel 12.9lbs (600190)- LM777__________________________________________________________________________________Update 6-10-08I can proudly say that I'm the owner a 5 speed Prelude now! Auto was going bad, even to the point to where I received a check engine light. Talked to a friend who referred me to a shop which would charge me $1800 for parts & labor for a complete 5 speed swap.Unfortunately, it took longer than expected. However, I came out with an Accord Type-R transmission which has a factory LSD. In the end, I payed only $1854. The only thing I'm missing is a new clutch which I should have purchased when the swap was done.Anyhow, I'm loving the manual transmission & I can never imagine going back to an automatic for a performance car.- LM777__________________________________________________________________________________Below: 1999 (5th gen) Honda Prelude 5-Speed Nighthawk Black Pearl ***(Pictures shown are outdated) ***
