My Grandfather purchased this car new. My Father owned it for a few years, then I bought the car from him when I was 18 (that was 34 years ago). However I have been driving it since I was 16, in fact I took my driving test in it. The car did sit in the garage for about 6 years before I restored it to as new in 1988. I drove my son home from the hospital in it in '89. He's 20 now . One day this car will have been owned by 4 generations. The engine and tranny have never been touched. I never changed out the ignition system, still using points and condenser. Good thing I saved that dwell meter and timing light. It currently has 112,000 miles on it and starts everytime and runs smooth. Old Buicks never die.

One interesting thing is that this car was built without factory air. Lots of room under the hood!

My Grandfather drove this amazing vehicle to Arizona and/or Florida every winter when he owned it.
He even pulled a 19' house trailer with it. You can still see the remnants of the old hitch welded to the frame.
