Thanks for taking some time to check out my Datsun 610's headquarters. This is my cherished ride, a Datsun Bluebird 610.

It has a powerfull for the era, and still strong and relatively powerfull L20B engine, which was used, and it is still being used in rallies and road car competitions world wide.

Here you can see I painted the wheels semi flat black. No chromes, this car means business, not into flashy stuff, but into performance.
Today the car has 14 inch wheels,( 14 X 8  front & rear ) and it is in stock condition otherwise.I am looking for the 1973 year model bumpers, so if anybody knows about a set, jaimesix's 1974 Datsun 610 let me know. I am going to install performance suspension, and 14X10 wheels with 245 or 265 /50 / 14 tires in the rear. For that matter, I am also looking for overfender flares a la DRE Datsuns of the past.

Datsuns have racing heritage. Known family of racing Datsuns includes : 610/180B, 200SX/Sylvia,B210/120Y ,710 ,1200 ,411 ,Cherry ,510 , and the 240/260/280 ZX .
This Datsun 610 car is in perfect shape, and it is an ambassador of it's kind. Not many 610's can be seen around today, much less with a rust free body! jaimesix's 1974 Datsun 610
I am not a fan of the extremely large diameter wheels, there are chariots for those chariot wheels, I look for performance and rubber on the road. Chromes and large diameter wheels are not my thing , with due respect for the ones that like that style.I am not against anything, just pro common sense. Fit the wheels and tires that a particular car can include. A Datsun 280Z can easily fit 16 in wheels. A Datsun 1200, even this Datsun 610 could not fit 16 or larger in wheels without sacrificing performance and looks.
In the near future ( within the next 2 years) a 20B 3 rotor engine ( picture included ), or an SR20 will find home in this car of mine. The SR20 is getting too common for my taste. I am inclined at this point towards a rotary engine or towards building up the stock SOHC L20B engine.

I also have another Datsun B210, a nice car too. It is amazing what this datsuns can do with a little imagination and knowledge.

I invite other 610 and B210 Datsun owners to come in and share their pictures and info, as well as everyone else.
My off road needs are well represented in my Suzuki Samurai , also waiting for a lift.

Engines that could end up in my Datsun:

Here I want to show an L series engine in full gear. This motors are not to be underappreciated. I am thinking I will keep the L20B motor. I am getting a S.U. carburetion set up , which is factory Datsun 180BSSS Australian Edition courtesy of my Aussie bud Russell.
Thanks Mate. I also got a cool Datsun 180BSSS Dashboard thanks to him. You are the man
For those who do not know, the Datsun 180B SSS is a Datsun 610 with special round gauges dashboard and sport package we never got in US.
Now, what I was talking about, an L18 Datsun motor in full gear.

Hi Stump 69. Yea, those Datsun bands are cool. I will check out that one you mentioned, the Datsun Propane! My ride is coming to its final stages. I have been busy at work and studying for an exam, but I am ready to get back to work on it this week.I am finalizing the front suspension and brake lines, after that, carb and headers....then goes to the exhaust shop for the pipes, and final trim installation. Will keep you posted. Let me check your ride now. Jaime.__________________________________________________________
