I purchased this at the time not so sexy 74 C-body Chrysler from a buddy of mine four summers ago. His father bought it brand new back in 74 and kept it in immaculate shape up until his passing away six seven years ago.......
I sold my old sett of Boss 310 chrome 20s , and opt for these sexy Torque Thrusts by America Racing..............yes they are 20s also. I also got 2 inch wheel spacers to compliment the cars stance.
The exhaust is custom 2.75 inch manifold back with a sett of Flowmasters that point down just below the axle.
The motor only has a mild cam with an edelbrock dual plane intake. The carb for now is just the stock thermoquad="thermobog" I have an AFB ready to be rebuilt, just got to get around to it. tranny is bone stock as is the rear end..........for now. It's a cruiser not a race car. I get more looks and thumbs up in this than anything else in town. Gotta love it!!! The top speed is I'd say around 135mph or more. The speedo disapears at 120mph reving in the high 3s. I had it wound up to 4500rpm in 3rd gear whatever that speed is. At those speeds the 20s with low profiles with the aid of wheel spacers, it holds the road pretty good. It does need firmer shocks tho..............con't.........
