I paid $450 for this car. Enough said. However, if you thirst for more information, read on.
I'm going to keep this simple. No fancy bold or italic headings or text here; very much a parallel to this car I just purchased on 4/15/2006.
It's a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier with 82k on the odometer. It runs smooth for a Cavy econobox; which means it's surprising it runs at all, considering these cars have the reliability of a Dutch sailor. I believe it also has some of the worst, if not THE worst, crash test ratings of all time.

That being said, it has a trunk from a green Cavalier from the junkyard. It does not line up properly with the car but it does seal and prevent water leakage. There is a medium-small dent in the front passenger door. I am going to pop it out tomorrow or Monday if I have the time.
The annoying part about this car is the fact the DMV is going to have to inspect it for stolen parts and such due to the fact it was considered totalled by the previous owner's insurance company. That is a pain in my ass and my wallet, but all for the greater good I suppose.
The car is a 5 speed, thank God. Clutch is 1.5 years old. New front tires, has 25% left on the front brake pads. I hope to change them myself ASAP.
This car has about as much zip to it as an Irish meal. However, I hope to get at least a few months of fun out of it. My next dream purchase is my friend's dad's 1993 Accord Coupe for $300.
