Thanks for lookin'. Here we have my 1999 Saab 9-3 Viggen 3-door. Turbocharged 2.3L DOHC Inline-4. Comes from the factory with 225hp and 252 lb-ft of torque and a 5-speed stick. Some stock Viggen owners have experienced up to 280 lb-ft of torque! That is from a completely stock car, no mods. Viggen "Lightning" Blue exterior with the Viggen-only Blue/Black heated leather sport seats. It's a really nice car which is quick and smooth, but can be driven in a very civilized manner.
I plan on doing an intake and exhaust sytem somewhere down the line. Also some suspension upgrades like a better front strut tower brace (in blue), better sway bar in the rear and new bushings. The steering rack clamp and brace kit from Genuine Saab is on the suspension modification list. Eventually I'll put the 6 point subframe brace from GS on too. I don't plan on delving into anything major until I'm done with college and get on my feet by my self (2+ years).
For the stereo, the stock one will do for now. You might think I'm crazy, but it sounds rather nice for a stock stereo and I don't have a whole lotta cash left to drop a nice head unit that fills the space in there.
Wheels will stay stock for a while too but I do plan on replacing them somewhere down the road. I have some winter rims/tires that I got for a good price. And they look better than steelies.
I would also like to get a carbon-fiber engine cover and battery cover to make the engine compartment look better. Carbon-fiber door pulls are also on the list.

Stock 17" wheels wrapped in Pirelli P6000s. 12" slotted rotors from the factory in the front

Really comfortable seats. Awesome colors.

Shot from the roof of my friend Garrett's house. Great looking car.

Hatch, hood and door open in my driveway. In the background you can see my old rust bucket, the '91 Nissan Sentra - complete with a 3-speed automatic!

Under the hood. It's intercooled from the factory too. REAL clean for the mileage!!

Here's a nice contrast for you. My friend Travis's 89 F-150 sporting 33's and the Viggen. Big truck, small car.

I did a small airbox mod and got rid of the pipe that goes from the airbox to the massive resonator down below. The turbo is a bit louder under WOT and it just makes me happy to know I am no longer using that stupid plastic plennum.

I also need to get some on-door cup holders. Saabs have TERRIBLE cup holders. And it doesn't help to have a stick either.
