Cool speedo reading a while ago.
I had to buy new tyres for the car and seeing as a new set of wheels were not going to be too much more I thought I might as well put some wheels on which I liked. These are more race style than the bling Kaotics that were on it before.

Been a very long time since I have last updated as I was quite busy with uni. Things done since then:
- Window tint
The window tint I had installed on the car is Sungard's Endurance series which is a chrome tint. It is not really that dark at all, however, it is highly reflective. This looks great during the evenings and you can't see into the car at all. I was considering going with a black tint, however, as the car is already black it simply wouldn't look very dark. I wanted to keep everything legal so this chrome tint should constrast the body colour nicely.
Below is a pic showing how nicely the the tint reflects sunlight.

I purchased a set of CV8-Z Monaro lights for the car a little while back. Just putting them in wouldnt look very good though so I bought a VX Exec garnish, new garnish seal and globe mounts which should give it a much better finish.
Took a while to get it all together and a few hours to install it all. Heres a few pics. Looks so much better.
All the parts used:
Close up. Pretty eh?

Updated: 5th July 2006
Some more mechanical work has been performed on the car including:
- New Steering Rack
- Transmission service
- Dyno tune
Almost everything mechanical has now been taken care off and the car is running damn smooth.

Well this is now the car I drive around in since the Soarer was written off in an accident. Be sure to sign my guest book or rate my car. Enjoy yo' self.
Car: Holden
Make: VT Series I S-Pack
Engine: 3.8L V6
At first I am spending my money on getting things running as smoothly as possible and the work performed so far includes:
- Oil & filter change (Penrite 10W-50 semi synetic)
- Fuel filter replaced
- Diff fluid change
- Power steering pump replaced
- Power steering fluid flush
- Coolant flush
- Front pads replaced
- Remachined rotors
- Brake fluid flush
Performace is certainly a step down from the Soarer...quite a few steps down, but nevertheless im pretty happy with the Commodore. Insurance is damn cheap (this is what prohibited me getting another Soarer), parts are easy to find, and just about every mechanic knows how to work on it. Fantastic stuff.
Here are the mods already performed on the car:
- 18x8 dished rims
- Pioneer DEH-P8650MP Head unit
- Sony Xplode 6x9" 3 ways
- Pioneer front speakers
- Clear side indicators
- Narva arctic blue park lights and low beam lights
Future mods:
Got the cv8-z lights in now so the next step is to fit a HSV GTO kit. Gonna be pretty expensive though so it may be a while.
