LATEST NEWS! GMC JIMMY SOLD AS OF 6/1/05 UNFORTUNATELY...GAS AND REPAIR COSTS GOT TO BE TOO MUCH...NOW DRIVING GAS SAVING 1991 HONDA ACCORD TO GET ME THROUGH COLLEGE.
SCROLL DOWN TO WATCH AS THE PROJECT UNFOLDS!!!
ALSO NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE IN PIC 1 & 2 AFTER I ADDED THE CUSTOM 1.5" SUSPENSION LIFT!! (pic 1)All factory when I bought it..just put on Bug shield and side window visors. (pic 2)Rear angled view of new dual exhaust 40 series flowmaster 2 1/2" out to 3" stainless steel tips. (pic 1)Side view of exhaust tips. (pic 2)New Rancho 5000 shocks and brackets on leaf springs to even out 1"-2" lift w/ torsion bar cranked up in the front end View of how much the new Centerline Hellcat 15x8 wheels (4.25" backspacing) and 30x9.50x15 BF Goodrich All-terrain tires are offset. (pic 1)Before I went muddin'... (pic 2)Jimmy after I did a little muddin'!! "Giving it a little character" Pic of the Jimmy about half way done... TOTAL LIFT= Estimated 1-2 inches w/ the shackels and torsion bar cranked up in the front end. (pic 1)Just put on some clear parking/turn signal bumper lights! Gotta love that parking job at work haha(couldn't let the parking space go unused) (pic 2)Added some V-Tech Taillight guards(yes they are plastic)
My friend said he could get his Jeep up the snow mound farther than i could just b/c his Jeep is lighter...proved him wrong..when all was said and done I had my gravel guard under my bumper scraping the top of that snow mound and he didn't get any further than you see here..Who's Next!? Painted the skid plate and differential cover w/ chrome spray paint. (pic 1)Interior is black leather w/ digital dash. (pic 2)Put 2 Rockford Fosgate Punch XLC 12's in..pushed by a Legacy 400 watt amp. I got the chrome brushguard as I said I would... Also, just added stainless steel rocker panels Another pic of my parking job at work...check out that suspension!(Rancho 5000's)..not bad I guess (pic 1) Pic of the grill I MADE..$5 project :) (pic 2) another pic of the grill at an angle Took this pic just before leaving to go 4 wheeling I have the offroad lights on the brushguard finally..sorry about the picture quality..they have chrome grills on them (pic 1) Clear corners and clear parking/bumper lights w/ offroad lights on at night (pic 2) My Jimmy next to a friend of mines S-10 in a local car show Above are some pics of my latest offroad adventure through a place know as Sugar Creek...the water was shallow enough to drive through for the most part, but I did feel the Jimmy floating a couple times. (pic 1) After trying to get out of my parking spot at a local mudrun that turned into a "mudstock." (pic 2)Rusult after my last creek driving experience...must have ran over a piece of metal under the water..It's all part of the off-roading experience though... (pic 1) Just added 4 100watt offroad lights on the top of the jimmy w/ my own fabricated light bar/mount. (pic 2) Light switch I mounted for the 4 100watt offroad lights on top. Just another parking spot at work that couldn't go to waste :) It now has a brand new tranny rebuild and a shift kit!!!
I won Top 10 in the Summit Racing Truck Style Online Truck Show over 500 other trucks back in September and now again in February and those are the only 2 times i've submitted my ride to the show!!!!!
