Rough summary for now until I get more time:

I just bought this Elcamino and it needs a bit of work. It needs new floor pans and the rear of the frame is rotted out. This is another example of a bad purchase from ebay and will be my last from there , I reported this one to Paypal after buying the purchasers security insurance and they have told me they don't care about the purchaser getting screwed. They only care about who makes them money. The Assclown who sold me this one hid the fact that it had 8 inch cracks on either side of the original 305. So I had to find out while I was there, 700 miles away in Pennsylvania. When I found it he tried backing away, and changing te subject of conversation. When I got it moved to another location, I found out from the locals in his Village,... Yes VILLAGE. The sign said "The Village Of Locust Gap" he does this on a normal basis, even to locals through the business he runs.Gap Racing.SO to all of those who shop on ebay BEWARE OF GAPRACER7! He is a con and a crook selling Junk as new or rebuilt.

Anyway, back to subject. I have put in a 350/TH350 and am driving it daily until I can get started on repairing these problems. More Later.... And Now The Elky.....

This is a collector car report I pulled off of the internet, the only thing this was originally equipped with was a 305, cruise, and Air conditioning. Seeing as how I got it with no interior at all I imagine the build sheet is long gone, but I am still going to try to find it in a few other locations. The red circle is the approx value as it sits right now on #3 I think it is more of a #2 though, the green is where I am hoping to get it once I give it new floor pans and do the frame swap, as well as a few new body panels, paint, and mostly new interior. I have a lot that I want to do to this one as well but I am not going to go to extremeties, trying to make this more of a "sleeper" hot rod/daily driver.

thanks for your comments! Yep, i like to keep it subtle, ive thought about adding some flashy things (chrome, decals, emblems) but im glad i never do. sometimes simple is style, def. for g bodies. you got a great project car, tons of potential. ive seen some sweet elkys on here. theres one that looks identical to my car actually, but an elky version. good luck.

Hey. I was just checking out the truck you're building. Not bad.
Does your dad have a web site for his Camaro?
Thanks for looking our Montes over. Later.

Wow. Sorry you got screwed by some jerk on evilbay. It happens. But even once is way TOO many times. And I can't believe PayPal did zip for you?
Well if anything the Camino looks like with some TLC you could make it a great vehicle. Then you can show Mr. Joe Blow you bought it from.
Good luck with it. Later.
