This is my 1989 Mitsubishi Montero 4X4! It has about 228,000 miles and about 90,000 miles on rebuilt engine. The whole thing's in pretty damn good condition. It's awesome off road and pretty fun on road too. Nothing special but we have fun with it. Cool cause it has so much room inside but outside it's relatively compact. Check out page 3 for some cool 4x4 pics from Tahuya.

Mods so far are:
KYB Gas-A-Just Shocks(great off road and firm on road, giving it sports-car-like handling!)
Xenon Headlights
MSD 6A Ignition
Magnecor 8mm Wires
Heads Milled slightly
KC Slimlites
3-way Windshield Washer Jets
Whelen Siren(295HF100, SA314)
Wig-Wag Flasher
Pirelli Scorpion ATRs
Painted Rims
Red Brake Calipers/Drums
Power Locks
Keyless entry
Remote Start
"Custom" Tow Hitch
PIAA Silicone Wiper Blades
Audio:
Clarion DXZ765MP Head Unit with Ipod Cable
Four Alpine 17C2 speakers
Two 12" JL subs in JL sealed enclosure
Rockford Fosgate Power360A2 Amp.

I need to get some new pics, most of these arent updated at all.
It does ok for what it is, faster than it looks. The stock 3L V6 does about 150HP. 0-60mph is 11 seconds. Fastest I've gone in it was 116mph, down a slight hill, still gaining but was coming up on a turn.

In a couple weeks I'll be adding a police scanner, Valentine 1 Radar detector and CB radio. I also want to rig something up to conceal my license plates at the touch of a button.

Possible future mods are an MSD Blaster coil, 2.5" stainless exhaust with high-flow cat and Borla muffler, larger throttle body, custom cold air intake, intake manifold and plenum from a 3000gt. I'd really like to do a turbo install but I don't have a place to work on it anymore.

If anyone has any other ideas on how I can get more power out of it please let me know.
