This is my 1989 Mitsubishi Montero 4X4! It has about 235,000 miles and about 130k miles on rebuilt engine. The whole thing's in pretty damn good condition. It's awesome off road and pretty fun on road too. Nothing special but we have fun with it. Cool cause it has so much room inside but outside it's relatively compact. Check out page 3 for some cool 4x4 pics from Tahuya.

I need to get some new pics, most of these aren't updated at all.
It does ok for what it is, faster than it looks. The stock 3L V6 does about 150HP. 0-60mph is 11 seconds. Fastest I've gone in it was 116mph, down a slight hill, still gaining but was coming up on a turn.

In a couple weeks I'll be adding a Valentine 1 Radar detector. I also want to rig something up to conceal my license plates at the touch of a button.

I've been planning to swap in a 320hp, 316 lb/tq Twin Turbo engine from a 3000gt VR-4.  It uses the same block as mine but with twin turbos and upgraded internals.  I talked to Mitsubishi and they said it will bolt to my transmission and that the stock drive train could handle the power.  I've been looking for a donor vehicle or a complete engine but just haven't found the right deal.  Need complete engine with all accessories as well as ECU, wiring harness and intercoolers

Hey man if you do that engine swap for the VR-4 engine write to me and tell me if it was somewhat easy or just a pain in the ass. (even though it would be worth it either way.) Would love to do it in my 89 two door
