Thanks for stopping by, I'm Derek. Please sign my guest book and drop a line. This is my 2001 WS6 Trans Am. I bought it Jan 28 2002. I previouls had a 97 that I could no longer drive, due to a knee injury. I was looking at buying a GMC Envoy, when the salesman told me that he has a 01 same color as what I'm trading. I declined took the envoy overnight, when I retured the next day the T/A was up front with a price drop of $5000 under the 02's MSRP? And so with 137 miles she became mine. The plans were to keep this one stock,Current set up is............
6.0 Iron block Diamond Flat Top pistons Stock (polished) Crank MS3 cam 237/242, .603"/.609" on a 114*+4 Patriot stg III 6.0 64cc heads Th400 / Trans Brake Yank 4000 stall 9" rear with 3.55 gears Supermaxx torque stepped 1 7/8" to 1 3/4" Long tubes Borla headers back 3" Dual stage 250 shot wet100/dry150 Produced 612 RWHP/683RWTQ on a Dynojet with the 175 @ 1100 psi fastest so far was a 05 season pass of 10.678 @130.83 mph. that was on MT's and a 175 shot. ** New 250 shot times are 10.382 @ 133.60mph with a 1.46 60' Sprayed 150 off the line with the second 100 at a 1.75second delay. Viper blue/ viper/burple mix out line flames I painted the flames one weekend at the shop. first time I ever did flames that stretch 3/4's back on a vehicle. Took me 12 hours to get them taped right. Only to have someone say flames aren't blue
