This car was imported from Japan and total cost from purchase to legally driving on the road was approximately US$15,000.00 believe it or not. That is inclusive of liscensing(road tax), number plates, insurance and the seller gave me ten bucks back to put my first set of gas in her.
Duties here are astronomical. A new Toyota Yaris retails from the dealership at around US$25,000.00 so it was not a bad deal and I got more features.
They are the rave here on the island. Before I got mine I saw them everywhere haunting me.
