HI EVERYBODY ! THIS IS MY 1971 AMC JAVELIN. I BOUGHT IT OFF OF THE ORIGINAL OWNER WHO ACTUALLY WORKED AT AMC AND HELPED BUILD HIS OWN CAR TO HIS SPECIFICATIONS A N D T H E N B O U G H T I T !!! IT STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL AM RADIO , A/C ,OWNERS MANUAL,ETC. IT HAS DARK GREEN INTERIOR & 304 ENGINE . THE ORIGINAL OWNER BUILT AND BOUGHT THE CAR AND THEN RETIRED TO FLORIDA SHORTLY AFTER. NO ROAD SALT MEANS THE BOTTOM OF THE CAR IS STILL BRIGHT YELLOW ! 60,000 ORIGINAL MILES ! I HAVE RECENTLY ADDED REAR DEFROST WHICH IS A BLOWER THAT MOUNTS IN THE REAR DECK AND LOOKS LIKE A MIDDLE SPEAKER . THIS IS HOW AMC DID IT AND I LIKE IT BECAUSE IT'S KINDA WIERD. SEE YA !!

Hey, thanks for the message. Nice car. You and I almost have the same car. My interior is black. In the next few weeks my wife said I could redo the whole interior.(Seats and carpet) Can't wait. I need a rear reverse light cover if you know where I can get one. Oh, and take good care of your grill. Mine has few cracks and is falling apart. On rough roads it bounces them a little too much. I think I will stick with the original look on the body. As far as wheels and leaf springs and stuff like that I don't mind. You have a nice one. It will be worth a lot someday. Mine also has no rust underneath. Still mustard yellow. Many of them have lots of rust. Take care, good luck with yours.
