This car has been sold...

Trying to finish college, and got this to get me through (much cheaper to insure). The swap actually makes it quicker than the stock MR2 with much better reliability.

THE B18c1 Civic

Please check out my last few rides in my friends list at the top of the page to see what audio wise will be in the MR-2!
___________________________________________________________
The audio is from my old car and is as follows...

Phoenix Gold Titanium 600Ti
Phoenix Gold Titanium 500Ti
MB-Quart Q-Series Components (6.5")
MB-Quart Reference Premium Components(6.5")
2 1.2 Farad Phoenix Gold Capacitors
Pioneer Premier 920r Head Unit
Subs (were JL 12W3 in my old car) But will do 8's or 2 10's behind each seat.

The system was built for STRICT SQ in my old car, and the MR-2 will follow suit. I want this car to have absurdly loud and clear responses to all frequency ranges. And it will!! Pleaese note that it will be kept somewhat simple, so the car can still be a 1/4 mile rocket...

I took the car out to a local Drag Strip, and ended up with a best of 14.6@92.8mph 100% stock!

The finished product. The Apexi turbo timer is in the factory clock location. Notice the hard-wired radar detector!

Here are some in progress pics of the stereo setup, those are MB-Quart Q-Series 6.5" components, they are located behind the factory locations. The amp is a Phoenix Gold Titanium 500ti, the 600ti will power 2 10's behind each seat later on...

PLEASE NOTE, the amp is in the NOSE of the car, with the MR-2 being mid engine, the battery and amp's are in the nose! Yes, 2 matching amps!
