As delivered. Purchased in November 05, I had the dealer deliver it with the 16" steel wheels and corresponding studded ice tires to begin it's life north of Montreal.

Then spring came and the sun came out! De-badged and door guards removed:

Front and rear wheels. PIAA FR-S 17" with Toyo Proxes T1-Rs and gold Folia-Tec caliper paint:

Headlights got black paint, and the taillights are the '06 model year North American black.

Inside, those are the Autovation aluminum racing pedals for the Mazda6, as well as a siple round aluminum ball shift knob. Knob and boot both available from Momo.

Just pick a warm sunny day, and they peel right off. If any sticky gets left behind, a cloth and some WD40 clears it all up. Also check www.mazda6club.com for tips and ideas.

So whats all involved with removing the door guards??? Thinking about taking it on? Any repainting or body filling holes or etc.??
