My pride and joy. My 66 Oldsmobile Delta 88. My family calls her Elvis but I named her Red Delta. She has a 425 Rocket with a little two barrel. TH400 trans with the console and bucket seats. It even has a factory tach. I have owned this car for 13 years and is is the same condition as it was when I found it in a field, save for new suspension parts and minor engine work, I also took one coil from each front spring to improve its stance. I kind of like the slight rattiness of the paint and interior, it allows me to park anywhere in the parking lot and not have to worry about getting dings and let the kids eat their ice cream and not have to get annoyed if a big dollop of vanilla lands on the carpet.

Looks like you have a Starfire coup. very collctable. starfires had low production numbers. Starfires also had the highest output horsepower wise. 375 in 66, 370 in 65 (factory rated of course, and could be a little more perhaps) If your car is a 65, I can send you the factory info on it (as in options, motor info etc)should do the 1/4 mile in about 15 sec's and 0-60 in about 10 secs. I used to have a 65 Dynamic 88. Personally, I also think hat your car could benefit from a set of over load shocks to reduce body roll in corners and in higher speed highway use. Dual exhaust will improve performance and gas mileage. But if it's a starfire, it came with dual exhaust from the factory. Use a 2" dual exhaust system if you replace the current system. And use a turbo muffler simular to a flowmaster brand muffer. It'll sound nice without being too loud and improve mileage and performance.
