evanfrenz's 1978 Datsun 280Z

I bought this 1978 Datsun 280z for $100 and pull it out of the old owners yard.

The car had rust everywhere, and some bad body work.

The frame was unsafe for the road.

I started tearing it down.

Finding more rust on the car.

Here is a pic when I got done with the tear down.

Started stripping the car.

I shaved the rain gutters for a smoother look. I plan on shaving alot more on the car as the body work progresses.

Hey i recently got a Z also...it's an '85 Nissan 300zx Turbo...it needs a lot of work, but it's fast and when i get some money and time in it then it'll be sweeter and more boosted. i need to make a page for it on here sometime.

Hey.. thanks for checking out my car, and ya that intercooler would fit no problem. It looks like you have a lot of work ahead of you so keep up the good work, my car looked like that when I first got it.

Aww man, your dash has less cracks then mine. Also missing a chunk from on top of the center gauges. Good luck with it. Might want to learn about welding as bad as that frame is.
