My ride sitting at home after bringing it home for the first time, its a 2000 Special Edition, Mahogany Mica with tan leather interior, Nardi wood steering wheel & Shift knob, 15 inch alloy wheels, 6 speed tranny, Torsen limited slip differential and a Bose Audio System. (Pretty much the stock Special Edition when I started)
I'm just getting started with the customazation, mostly cosmetic to start with. I'm a ham Radio operator and the first order of business is to get the "Rig" installed. I'll be runing HF/VHF and UHF with a Yaesu FT-857D. I have a dual band UHF/VHF antenna that is on a foldover trunk mount and a HF Hi-Q-5/80RT "Screwdriver" antenna that will be hitch mounted.

Well, the Miata has definately taken on a life of its own. Mods are now becomming more performance oriented, and I've never really used the ham radio in it. Seems the more I do to this car, the more I want to do! This has got to be the most fun car I've ever owned!!
