SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well my headers are leaking at the header/y-pipe I think. Haven't been able to get it to stop, so gonna try a couple more thing. I also put 4 blue l.e.d's under my dash. Also finally mounted my IAT sensor into the intake. Since I put on the cone filter it's just been hanging for the last year. Have pics up that are about a month or so old now. 7-10-07

Got pretty much my whole brake system redone. Lines, routers, drums, calipers, etc... I also have the stock 15" stock wheels and Goodyear tires now as well. Hoping to start doing some body work once the weather stays nice as well. Also have my Pacesetter shorty headers on now. Wish I would of got the ceramic coating since the paint burned off pretty much right away.4-19-07

Gonna be putting on new front and rear brakes. Along with new rotors and drums. I also have a manifold leak I think so gonna order a set of Pacesetter shorty headers. Also gonna be picking up a set of 16" stock wheels and tires. Looking for a rear WS6 sway bar so I can put my front 1 on as well to improve the car a tad bit more. 3-6-07

Decided that I'm keeping my bird. Hoping over the winter/spring to get a new pass fender, doors, hatch, and 1/4 panels. So for a while it'll be multi colored but it'll be worth it. Hoping to get new seats and carpet over the summer. Along with the dash pad and might try to fix my center console. Then over the winter I think I'm gonna get some t-tops installed. That'll be around $1200 and take the guy a week, but well worth it. So hopefully everything goes as planed. I'll be doing a 350 v8 swap, but not sure on the time frame of that yet. 12-14-06

Might be getting a 350 v8 this winter!!! Gonna be doing a few minor mods should push around 350hp. Can't wait!! 10-05-06

Put on a windshield banner Thursday and washed and used some of that Eagle One wax as you dry yesterday. Pics on page 3. 9-9-06

Haven't updated in awhile but still been working on the bird. Had to replace my windshield due to a crack. Then I replaced my inner driver side door handle, rear hatch lock and was replacing the rear hatch supports when I snapped 1 of the bolts for the supports off. So been looking for a new 1 of those. Also I've removed the back seat and the head liner since it was just foam and the back seat was trashed. Next part I'm gonna order is gonna either be a new center console or dash mat. Also been doing lots and lots of cleaning. Check page 3 for some new pics. 9-4-06

Replaced the MAF Sensor and air filter today. No more "Check Engine Soon" light and no more staling. Picture of new filter on next page. 5-15-06

Finaly got a cd player. I got the Kenwood KDC-MP5032, this is a great stereo. Lots of features and looks great. No pics of it yet but I do have some new pics of some of the decals and stickers on my car. 5-8-06

Finally got the rim off. Was taking the sawzall to it but finally got a hold of some torches. 2 mins. later the rim was finally off so off to get the tire put on the new rim I purchased the day before. I also got my head light conversion kit and man those things are bright. Having a loose wire issue with the driver side light but hell just 1 of them is as bright as 2 of my old 1's. I also replaced the dis. cap and router.I'll get some updated pics up here soon. 4-22-06

Been working on the Firebird over the weekend. Replaced the oxygen sensor. Some new spark plugs and wires. Lubed up the front end and looked over the brakes. There seems to be no oil leak from what we see, when I got the car the oil was over filled so we think it was just run off and such. Also can't seem to find a gas leak and we only smelled gas the 1 time. So we're thinking it was because the car sat for 2 months before I bought it.

Only big problem I've ran into so far is 1 of the lug nuts on the rear driver side tire is stuck on. I broke 1 of my father in laws socket adapters trying to get it off. We where gonna use a set of easy offs but didn't have a bit big enough. So then I tried to chisel it off and make the nut crack. No luck with that so I even tried a dremel tool and a diamond plated grinding bit. It's still on there so where gonna try some spray stuff before we just bust it off. 4-11-06

I just got this 87 Firebird for $450. Has around 130,000 miles and runs pretty good. The 2.8l V6 automatic has a small oil leak. It needs some brake work and a gas leak to make it drivable. Once those are done 1 of the head light's motors either needs new bushings or is burned up.

Then after that is the interior. It really needs a good cleaning and then I need to add a cd player because the other 1 was stolen before I purchased it. After I get the cd player in I want to tint the back window 5% then put in my 12" Alpine Type-R's and my Kenwood amp for starters. I also have a blue neon under body kit just sitting around so I'll probably put that on along with some blue led's under the dash. I also would like to drop in a 350 V8 change it over to a manual trans and get some T-Tops installed.

It also needs a new head liner, seats, and probably carpet. The over all body is in good shape. The rear fender has some rust along with the bottom of the doors. Then the car needs a full paint job. I'm just hoping everything turns out the way I want it too.
