This is my mother's 1986 Mercedes 420 SEL. Very nice ride. Has some minor rust in some corners, but not too noticeable. A touch up will be coming soon. The car is great! With only 153K miles on her, the body is mint! The 4.2L SOHC V8, starts up instantly, no problem, purs like a cat too. Tranny shifts smootly. After having new rubber mounted, she cruises nicely!! Everything works too, from the HVAC, to the power windows and seats, that have the preset controls built in on the front seats! Nice big back seat and leg room. The new head unit was put in by the previous owner, a Sony CD player, and receiver.
