MAINTENANCE AND MOD HISTORY LOG SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR IN 2006

3/28/2006 - 69,000 miles bought car from Major Infinity in Kansas City, Missouri - gas gauge does not work, cruise control works intermittently
3/29/2006 - filled tank up and gas gauge now works
3/31/2006 - Major Infiniti had local Audi dealer repair cruise control, and check gas gauge
4/1/2006 - installed Sylvania SilverStar front turn signal bulbs and fog light bulbs
4/4/2006 - installed K & N air filter
4/5/2006 - installed new pollen filters
4/6/2006 - installed 245/50/17 Michelin Pilot tires
4/8/2006 - changed oil w/ Audi filter and Mobil 1 5w30, flushed power steering (refilled with Audi fluid), installed new wiper refills, installed new engine oil filler cap, installed new chrome lug bolts
4/9/2006 - installed new rear brake pads
4/10/2006 - local Audi dealer showed me how to reset the oil change light
4/11/2006 - installed Sylvania SilverStar H7 high beam bulbs
4/13/2006 - installed new engine oil dipstick
4/14/2006 - disconnected headlight washers, both cylinders are leaking
4/15/2006 - installed NGK R Laser Platinum plugs, washed and cleaned under engine covers and entire engine bay
4/20/2006 - Received Audi manual on CD from Bentley Publishers - Love it so far.
4/21/2006 - installed 20GB Phat Noise Phatbox in place of the factory 6CD changer in the trunk
4/29/2006 - installed new wiper blades and kept refills that were put in recently
4/30/2006 - car almost over heated, think thermostat is stuck, car has been parked to determine next course of action
5/7/2006 - after being quoted $1040.00 to have the thermostat and seal changed I did it myself with help from Audi World and Audi Pages information. Took me 7 hours including time to put it on ramps and go to the auto parts store. I did not even remove the timing belt.
5/7/2006 - installed new accessory serpentine belt
5/12/2006 - changed fuel filter, changed engine coolant(using Audi G12), checked and filled front differential with Audi fluid
5/13/2006 - checked and filled center differential with Audi fluid
7/22/2006 - checked and filled front and center differentials with Audi fluid
8/12/2006 - replaced passenger front seat belt assembly
8/18/2006 - had stainless steel exhaust tips installed on factory muffler
8/18/2006 - had the car inspected for any potential problems - none found
8/18/2006 - replaced washer fluid resevoir cap
8/18/2006 - had mass air flow meter replaced and engine codes cleared
9/3/2006 - changed oil with RotellaT synthetic 5w40 and an Audi oil filter, replaced seal on coolant drain on drivers side of engine, installed drivers side headlight washer, reset oil change monitor, added synthetic Lucas oil treatment to engine, installed stainless steel outside door handle trim
9/6/2006 - had side and back windows tinted with 35%, removed factory cell phone antennae, removed A8L & 4.2 & Quattro emblems on trunklid for a much cleaner look
9/15/2006 - replaced passenger side headlight washer and both drivers and passengers side headlight washer nozzles
10/20/2006 - installed chrome outside mirror covers
1/25/2007 - changed oil with RotellaT synthetic 5w40 and Audi oil filter, checked and filled front and center differentials with a mixture of Audi fluid and Lucas synthetic additives, reset oil change monitor
3/7/2007 - had transmission/final drive output shaft seal replaced, also had the front and rear differentials checked and filled
3/10/2007 - car has hit 89,000 miles replaced front brake pads, resurfaced rotors and flushed brake fluid with dot 4
3/11/2007 - had tires rotated and balanced
3/11/2007 - installed second rear fog light socket on passenger rear light assembly
4/04/2007 - replaced both front upper control arms on both sides of car
5/5/2007 - installed Ingolstadt German license plate, ebay look-a-like German plate decals and an Audi Igolstadt dealer plate mount on front of car
6/9/2007 - replaced both front lower rear control arms
7/1/07 - changed engine oil with RotellaT synthetic 5w40 and an Audi oil filter, cleaned and reoiled the K & N air filter, reset oil change monitor
8/4/07 - cleared engine codes, recoded central locks to code 16232 (1 button unlock, autolock at 15mph, raise and lower windows with remote)
8/14/07 - installed painted M3 style trunk lip spoiler
8/18/07 - changed timing belt, all rollers, water pump, thermostat and fan clutch 100,333
10/14/07 - changed oil and filter 103,909 miles
10/16/07 - installed all new rotors and pads at all 4 wheels 104,000 miles
11/10/07 - removed the resonator from the exhaust system
