Basically I raised the attachment point (base) for the upper control arm 2". This gave me back the adjustment in the upper control arm and allowed it to move appropriately. The original kit was not intended to be lowered as low as it needs to be for the stance of this car. I will still end up going back and altering the lower control arm...but that is another project for later.

Oh, I almost forgot! I wanted to give credit where credit is do....Thank you to my older brother....I remember back to this day, my brother and I worked as a great team! His participation helped speed the process up and I greatly appreciate his efforts! Each piece that you are looking at had to be cut out of various plate stock. Then I mocked it up to ensure that the suspension would travel correctly, tacked then final welded the assembly.

Next are the rear wheel tubs. The pics basically give you the idea. I will probably go back and delete some...sorry if I got a little carried away, I do take a lot of pics.

These are some of the paper templates I used to pattern the pieces. I used various mallets, hammers, a vise etc. to form the material. As you will also see, I used a small section of the original wheel tub.

These are .125" thick plates that really strengthen the 4-link forward attachment points (brackets). You will see later why this is necessary....and if you are wonder "Does it have anything to do with the exhaust?" You are right....Be patient, you will see soon enough. :O)
