With the trunk lid off I marked and cut the appropriate area to allow for the tube to slide through connecting the two rear tubes. Later I went back and welded the removed piece back in so the trunk lid can be reinstalled....with body and paint work it will be impossible to tell it had ever been cut...it will be CLEAN!

All of these tube joints are TIG welded 100% around.

Obviously this joint can not be welded on the back side (I did not want to cut a hole in the outside of the car).

These are pics of the initial complete rolling chassis. The front has 2" lowering Spindles. I later had to go back and re-work the front suspension...in these pictures it was only Temporarily tacked but not completely functional. I'll get the pics of the mod on later and explain what I had to do.

A few pics of the rear end out of the car...I had it narrowed by another shop..they have the jig...and for what they charge it makes it worth while. I located and welded (TIG) all the brackets, back brace and tabs.
