Here is my kind of new Saab 9-3. I bought this car in late december of 2005. Two weeks after I purchased it the engine blew (Apparently had something to do with the DI casette). Luckily the whole thing was under warranty. Or so I thought. It is now april, and the car has the fifth engine that the dealership received installed in it. Very long story...... Anyway Here is my car. Its mostly stock except for the stereo system, which currently consists of an alpine head unit and all infinity speakers. I will soon be adding 3 four channel amps, door speakers, dynamat and either an eclipse or alpine double DIN touch screen navigation system. As for performance I have not yet decided what to. I am thinking about adding abbot racing pipes for the turbo, a new intercooler from abbot racing and then later the stage 3 9-3 upgrade from nordic. Below are some pictures from the day that I got my car back. In page two you can see the first few mods I have done.

Wow I'm sorry to hear that you had so much trouble with that engine!!! My DIcasset went 5 months after I bought it. They all burn out at more or less every 60000 miles. Luckly I didnt pay for it under warranty! Nice car keep it up.

Those clear corners turned out really well! They look great on your car! Nice work on the rear fogs too - that's just fun to annoy people behind you with ;) I like the Griffin decal too - looks really nice. Keep up the good work man!

Nice looking Saab! I'm sorry to hear of all the troubles you've had with it- hopefully those are all out of the way now? I need to caution you about your plans for a blow-off valve - on the 2000+ models, you cannot run a blow-off valve. Long story short, the Trionic-7 engine management system wants to keep the same amount of air in the system at all times - it'll get pissy if you vent some of that air to the atmosphere, as a BOV would do. If you want some cool sounds, look into getting the GenuineSaab open intake - check my Saab page for more info on that (and a link). It's an easy install and will make the intake, turbo, AND recirc valve louder - the recirc valve will be loud enough to hear about a block away from the car, so it'll sound like a BOV. Again, check out my Saab's page for any information on performance parts - I've got a little review for everything that I've put on my car (and Sonic's almost ready for Nordic Stage 3 software :) ).
