Here is the new rear bumper I just started building:

It will match the front:

BroncoII had been flopped on it's side when I bought it in 1997. Seems it had fell over once before. Hmmm.... I see a pattern forming here.

The propane conversion is almost complete...just need to get a permanent tank in it.

Heading to the ORV Park to do a little "Wheelin'", the Ranger, as the chase rig, loaded with tools and spare parts...

Tired old 2.8 V-6 died, and stepped aside for the 5.0 V-8 and C4/C5 trans.

Still has the original 13-54 t-case and front drive shaft. Axles were donated by a 1991 Explorer, the rear drive shaft is from the front of the Explorer. The rear springs are a Ranger 5 leaf pack and the top two leafs from the Explorer(with the shackle eyes cut off). Lifted about 8 inches.

This is tougher than it looks here...I recently removed the custom sway bar, which allowed for a lot of additional flex in the front suspension...too much(I know...can't have too much flex!), it allowed the coil spring to pop out. No biggy though, had lots of fellow wheelers pitch in to pop it back in.

This will keep the springs from popping out under extreme flex...

Many, many eBay and wrecking yard parts.
Countless hours of planning and trying crazy ideas, and a few hours of actually doing something productive. Many thanks to my Brother, Jack, wouldn't have got this far with out your help(and tools!)

This is what I started with in 1997:

Future Plans include:Building a rear bumper with receiver hitch, Roll cage(at least 6 point, tied to frame), Rock sliders, Lockers, and 4.56 gears

Just about finished with the front bumper on the BII:
The Diamond Plate 'skin' will be the charcoal gray(like the tube that the lights are mounted on), as will the flares, bottom body line down, rocker slides, and the rear bumper.
