This is a pic of the oil filter housing. I took this picture to show the wire that is hanging. This wire is the ground wire to the gauge in the cluster. Without this wire connected, which it is not, the gauge does not read. It says that it has extremely high oil pressure, but it does not. I did this backing out one morning, I backed over a root and it snagged and broke. An easy fix but I might not have time to get to it.
A picture of the BRAND NEW 3" downpipe and the APEX'i 3" exhaust. The oil pan is wet because the oil filter that was on the car had a small crack in it and it sprayed oil all over it. The picture also shows that there is a brand new STP oil filter on there.
Just a picture of the high temp painted spark plug cover.
Prothane motor mount inserts, This motor DOES NOT move at all. Helps with wheel hop and increases torque.
Another pic of the car with the top up. Notice that the windows are not tinted. That's because it's a convertable. The top was ALWAYS down.
These are the rims going with the car. I know that there are 2 types on Autotrader but these are the ones going with it. This is the worst rim of the 4. If you look hard, there is a scuff on one of the edges. That is NOT from hitting a curb, that is from the DA that mounted them on the tires. The tires are practiclly brand new with less than 3000 on them. You can still see the little prickly rubber peices that go all the way around the tires.
This is the only major defect to the body. I did this backing out over the same root that tore up the ground wire for the oil gauge. The bumper is also chipping paint. You can buy a whole new bumper on ebay for less than $100 or you can rice it out and put a body kit on it for another couple of hundered.
GReddy RS BOV recirculated. The piping is Hahn Racecraft, upper and lower.
STOCK T25 TURBO. NOT THE 20G TURBO THAT IS SHOWN ON AUTOTRADER. DON'T ASK IF YOU CAN GET THE 20G TURBO EITHER BECAUSE IT IS ALREADY SOLD. This turbo has maybe 76000 miles on it. I bought the car last July with 72000 miles on it, then put a 16G turbo on it in Sept. of last year and then the 20G in March of this year. Now it has the STOCK one back on it.
An entire shot of the engine. Notice that it is clean. That's because I meticulously keep up with the car. I didn't clean it up to take the pics to make it look extra clean. I just popped the hood and started snapping. I take care of all of my cars this way.
A rear shot of the tip on the APEX'i exhaust. The exhaust is quite at idle and crusing but lay into the gas and it wakes up in a hurry. This is there rally exhaust so it has a NICE deep tone to it. Not like a riced out Honda.
Spyder on the headrests. There used to be a Mitsu diamond logo on there but someone stole them. Can you believe that there are losers like that that will steal a $3 sticker. Well there are.
The gauge cluster on the A-Pillar. A Hahn boost gauge that lights up red. Looks really nice at night. A Glow Shift A/F gauge. This is not hooked up because it is only for a ricer boy light show. They are not accurate. I had a INNOVATE wideband system in my car so that I could read A/F exact. On the bottom, a AEM pyrometer gauge. (EGT) This measures the temperature of the exhaust gases. If you know, that heat is the enemy and robs you of power. This gauge is not hooked up because the stock manifold has not been tapped for it. I had a manifold that was tapped for it. I don't feel like taking it out, so you can have it, sell it, whatever.
The flip out screen that is shown on Autotrader IS NOT included. You will get a factory deck and an Alpine deck. The TV was going with the car when everything was in it, but now, you are only getting a factory deck and the Alpine.
The kick panels are not bolted in. They are just sitting there. Again, a very easy fix and I will probably get this done before the car is sold. If you look through the crack you can see a red spec. That is a prothane stiff shift bushing. I will also include a short shifter that I just bought and never installed and also, a stiff shift underhood bushing kit that was never installed.
The gauge cluster. Notice the miles which are accurate. Also, notice the oil pressure gauge. This is what it looks like all the time because of that wire. I can gaurantee you that the car has perfect pressure because this gauge has been like that for almost 7 months now. But if you still aren't to safe, I have an Oil Pressure gauge that I'll give you that YOU can hook up.
These are the factory holes for the factory spoiler. Notice that I have the Turbo wing mounted on the car. I mounted it myself because I did not see any point in paying someone $1100 to have it mounted and to have the holes patched and painted. The wing is mounted using holes that would be hidden if you wanted to remove it and reinstall the factory wing. You will get both wings so you can choose how you want it. I am more partial to the turbo wing as are many of the other buyers and people that have seen the car. There is a red smudge on the tail light which will come off, but I'm just too lazy to get it off.
This is just a shot of the other side. Notice that there is a white rim off of a Talon TSi AWD. That is on there because the last time I drove the car, I hit a road deflector on the highway at 140 mph and had a blow out. I have another 18" tire to have the rim mounted and will have it done for whomever purchases the car.
This is everything that is going with the car. As I have said, the car is in great shape with very low miles. I just talked to someone that paid $6300 for a Spyder GS-T with 140000 miles on it. Mine has much less than that and that just goes to show that it will last a while. If you know anything about DSM's, you should know all about what the call the "FREE MODS". If not, check out www.vfaq.com. The clutch switch has been disconnected. This means that you DO NOT have to push the clutch in to start the car. This is good for the car because it reduces impact on the thrust bearings. And as a TRUE DSMER knows, that is the biggest reason for crankwalk. And you don't want that. Trust me, this car has plenty of life left in it. If you don't believe me, come and drive it. But you are going to have to make offers quick because I have someone with cash that's wants the car Monday. So, email with any more questions. Hopefully this answers everyone's questions all at once. Not only with the pics, but with the descriptions.
