Egon,
Thanks for your comments about my 1969 Opel GT. It is the 1.1 Liter that is 98% FACTORY original and yes the paint is original (except the hood - repainted in 1982 by the original owner who dropped a Christmas box on the bubble). I guess this Opel GT (known in the states as Ms. Opel) is not for sale since I just turned down an offer of $30,000 (US dollars) from a collector from the country of Lebanon - BUT I may be open to other offers - who knows? Ms. Opel just turned 20,000 original miles and is getting 54 mpg so she is a buffer against high gas prices.

Hello Tom,

My compliments for youw Opel GT. It's a very nice car with extreme low milage. I live in the Netherlands, Europe. This car was built in Belgium for Opel. Thats a GM-company that builts cars in Germany. The most Opel GT's were sold to the United States. The European climate is not good for te preservation of the GT's. Most of them are completely rusted so it is to expensive to estore them.
Is your GT completely original also the orginal colour/paint?
And is the care perhaps for sale?

Lots of greetings from Holland. Egon Schreven.
