1991 Geo Tracker with 1998 Suzuki Sidekick engine built with junkyard parts
Currently having the engine rebuilt. During the rebuild, I did a mild port on the head (deshrouded valves, smoothed chamber and intake). I may also get the head milled (0.03" for a 9.7:1 CR?) if I can find a nearby shop that could do it over Thanksgiving weekend (when I'll be in town working on it).
Why does it need a rebuild? - I ignored a leaky head gasket because it didn't seem to be consuming much coolant. One day when I started it, cylinder 4 was full of coolant; it hydrolocked and broke the connecting rod and made a small hole in the side of the block. I went the redneck route and used JB weld to patch the hole.

The Tracker on its first trip to the sand dunes since the motor swap.
