So basically this is my new car. I just got it for my 19th birthday. It's black (obviously) with the black cloth interior, so it's not bad. It's got power windows and locks, and a power sunroof which is key. The best part though, it's a 5 speed. My parents just had the clutch replaced and it was replaced with some sort of a performance clutch but my dad forgot what kind so that's good. I just put in a weapon-r intake for shits and giggles and it sounds pretty nice for what it is. I just took some pieces that my friend had from his intake, pieced them together and tada: ghetto cold air intake. It sounds pretty nice, and it's really loud going through tunnels and under an overpass. It's not exactly fast, but it's got a little bit of get up and go to it...and it chirps second gear like it's nothing...it's going to stay pretty much stock for now until i get a little more funding to go towards it...
I do however have a pretty decent system in it though. It's Alpine all around, except for the amplifier. It's a 9847 head unit, with 6 1/2" Type-R speakers in the front, and 6" x 9" Type-R in the back as well. And last but not least, I have a 12" Alpine Type-R subwoofer hooked up to a Kenwood 8152 Excelon amplifier, and all in all it sounds pretty nice. Nothing major, but it well set off car alarms without trouble. The only thing is though, when it hits really hard you can see pretty much everything start to vibrate, but it looks cool so the tradeoff is fine...until things start breaking haha. But I'm happy with it, and that's all that matters to me.
That's about it for now, I'll post more as work progresses (if it ever does) and as I take more pictures of it
...and black faced in the night!
And....here's the homemade intake!
Hey, it gets the job done...and that's all that matters at the end of the day...
