Old Updates

WOW! I havent updated this page in forever!!!! SORRY! Lets see where to start...I parked the car for 8 months cause the tranny was causing it to be very undrivable(but I could if I had to)... our old tranny guy swore it was the torque converter going out so I finally got enough money(yes I got a Job)to get working on it and 500 dollars later it still had the same damn problem!!! And suprise-suprise our ex-tranny guy wont return calls now! SO I started looking around for a shop that could tell me whats wrong with it and what exactly needed to be fixed, not just tell me it need a whole nother rebuild(the tranny was only 1 1/2yrs old- the friction material,clutches, and hard parts should still be good, so why pay to replace them!)

SO we finally thought we found someone who would do it, Trans Magic, said he'd find out what was wrong and call us back...unfortunately(my luck)the tranny drove its last feet as I was driving from my work to Trans Magic(about blocks away) so it was completely dead finally and we had it towed the last block...Next day the guy from Trans MAgic calls me and says,"It'll 1400 dollars for a rebuild." WHAT! I only paid 1200 for that tranny new and tricked out!!! He never even opened it up to look inside! STAY AWAY FROM TRANS MAGIC IN SANTA CLARITA!!!! There rip-offs!

Fast forward to a last week, I picked up a 700R4 used for 100 bucks from a nice guy over on Thirdgen(Jstcrzyengh)and just got it back yesterday from being installed!!! Now all she needs is to find the eletrical gremlin and she'll be back on the road(well my Bf also got bored the other day while I was at work and started taking my motor apart...so it needs to be put back together soon and it will be back running!!!)

Meanwhile Im getting my T/As tranny fixed-they towed our Blazer away!!! Expired registration(cant get it regestered cause we cant get it to a SMOG place with no tranny-Its tranny died back when I was getting my tricked out tranny installed about 2 years ago!) SO I have spent the past 3 days trying to get it out of impound while my parents are in canada for 2 weeks!!! Luckily we found a truck 700R4 tranny for cheap and it is sitting at my tranny shop right now being installed!!! SO thats soon to be 4 of our 6 cars running-pretty good considering a few weeks ago we had 1 out of 6 cars running(our bonneville also blew its supercharger a few weeks ago!)

Now I just need to polish up my T/A and Ill gets some new good pics of it and get it back out on the scene!!! YAY!!!

Sorry so long since the last update...life has gotten all little crazy lately!!
A few new mods mostly stereo(new headunit, sub, amp, and speakers all around)and some new "bling"(16" chrome CSi cross lace wheels) and Im working on some custom brushed aluminum interior peices and hopefully will be picking up and used 350 motor for free to replace my limping 305...

In other news, my tranny is acting up so Im carless and jobless! Slow to shift into first and one day didnt go into Reverse for about 15 mins and its only 2years old...so to avoid more possible damage, its parked till I get some cash together *arg*

Hey everyone! Whats up? Heres some info and mods on my car:

This is my baby- 1983 Firebird Trans Am that I bought when I was 15 for $400 from my Uncle who ran it into the ground and I have since been replacing all the worn out parts and getting it running good again!!

Dynomax exhaust,
Pioneer 12 disc changer, sub, amp, etc tinted windows, lowered 2"

coming soon: 350, chrome CSi 16" wheels, new Pioneer head unit, and custom aluminum interior!
