Well here she is in all her Ford glory. She's a 1987 Ford Bronco II with the legendary 2.9 liter "I like to fall apart" V-6 in it. Within the first month of me getting her, I allready had to rebuild the engine because of a cracked head...then the water pump went out...then the fuel guage broke...then the freeze plug rusted out...then the oil pressure sensor broke...twice...then the starter went out...twice...(luckily that was under warranty, it was only 7 days old)...and I could go on for a while...well at least until I got up to about 360 dollars in parts. But to tell you the truth, the truck's body is in immaculate shape, and the running gear isn't too shabby on it. All in all, even through all the blood, sweat and tears, I still love this truck. Bronco II's have some of the most awesome 4 wheel drive in the world and the tight turning radius is a deffinate plus. As far as the rollover rating is concerned I've ran the balls off of this truck and never came close to rolling it over...don't ask me how people roll these things over...i guess it's one of lifes great mysteries. Other than all of the problems tho, she's a great old girl and even though at one point she dumped down half a gallon of anti-freeze a day, over a quart of oil every few miles, and I swear I hydroplaned on my own fluids once, she has never left me stranded and has allways been a faithful truck to me. Tell me what you think about the old hotrod, maybe when I get her running on all 6 again, I will put up some 0-60 times for her.

This is one of my bigger mistakes I made in this truck. Went mudding with it, and got it stuck. Then I made the next poor decision of trying to get my 1983 Ford F-350 with a 460 big block into the mud to try and pull out the bronco, who's 7 day old starter had just shit the bed. Then I finally made my last and worst decision yet and took my 2000 Ford F-250 with the Triton V-10 out to try and yank the 83' F-350 out...Sunk all 3 of them in a vast marsh that was a little bigger and deeper than I had planned on it being. We even tried to use my brothers 96 F-150 with 35" Mickey Thompson Baja Claws a 6" lift and the bullet proof 300 Iron Six to yank them out but in the end I had to get a John Deere 410 backhoe to pull them out. That was a fun day, I had to bring in this picture to my boss as proof on why I didn't come into work

On the left is my best friend Jim's Danger Ranger, it's a 93' Splash ranger with the 4.0 liter v-6 and the standard trannsmission. To say the least he can shit stomp the old bomber in a drag race. I would love to hear the story of someone with a 2.9 that could beat a 4.0 in a drag. I'm not sure it's possible
