Lastest addition to the family is this 1984 Ambulance
That's my wife in the picture, she was fortunate enough to tear her achilles tendon at Tae Kwon Do. OWWWCCHHH.
I picked it up as a service vehicle, but when I got it home the wife and kids said I can't tear it up. They want it to be like a real ambulance, so I'm looking for a gurney :)
Still says "Team WIR" on the side.
It has 60,000 original miles, a 460 motor followed by a C6 transmission. Its a ford E350 Van with ambulance package from Collins.
All the lights, sirens and PA system work.
I insured it before picking up and had it tagged the day after I got it home. Really fun to drive around town.
It was only driven about 233 miles in the last 6 years.
I paid a whopping $2,100 for it, and drove it home 3 hours from Wichita, KS.
More pics now. Notice the wheel chair? Found it 2 weeks before my wife tore the tendon. She used it for a month. And now it fits in the ambulance. Gotta love fate.
Will post some nite shots soon :)
