2006 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab Prerunner
2006's Stereo Setup
Headunit: Eclipse CD8053
Tweeters: SEAS Lotus Reference Silk dome 1"
Midrange/Midbass: SEAS Lotus Reference 6.5"
Amplifiers: ZAPCO Reference 360.4, 500.1
Subwoofers: Image Dynamics IDQ10 (x2)
My stereo is a 2-way active system. The reason I picked the Eclipse CD8053 headunit was because it has all the processing I need built into the unit (crossovers, Equalizer, time alignment). A perk is that it has such high voltage outputs and an aux. input for an mp3 player.
I did very well with this simple setup and ended up winning my first show, IASCA's Spring Break Nationals 20 in the rookie division. I also took 2nd at Steel Valley Regionals in the rookie class as well as placing 9th in the Overall Top 20 Sound Quality Challenge...if you ever have the opportuninty, SVR is an AWESOME SHOW! The Top 20 showdown uses 4 judges that listen to their own music compilations.

Subs (Image Dynamics IDQ10s) & Amplifier (Zapco Reference 360.4 & 500.1)Rack. This is the creative work of Jeff Smith & Calvin Thomas of Audio Designs (www.audiodesignsofatlanta.com). The rear seat hides the subs when the seats are up. The purpose of this install was to go completely stealth as if Toyota designed the stereo.
Here's a pic of part of the 60/40 bench folded down. There's enough space between the subs and the backside of the rear seats that the subs do not hit the seats, even when playing the hell out of them!
Here's some pics of the car finally finished with seats in, but folded down:
