New engine project
As the lifespan of my current engine is drawing to it's end, I've began building a new engine, one with no expense spared. Here's the list of modifications I'm doing for the engine:
- Forged 94mm stroke crank shaft
- Forged H-beam cromoly rods
- Wiseco pistons 8.5:1 C/R
- Tri-metal bearings (Duraglide 770)
- Aluminium flywheel
- VW VR6 outer valve springs
- Fidanza adjustable cam gears
- Ferrea valves (Nissan VG30DETT) Exhaust 30.5mm super alloy, intake 35mm Comp. Plus
- Cam regrind
- modified VICS
- water/methanol injection
- Holset HX40 Super turbo (new custom exhaust manifold to fit)
- high capacity injectors
- Fidanza 4.3 clutch kit (6-puck clutch, heavy duty pressure plate)
