1986 Plymouth Caravelle SE 'Belle the Velle
This is my beloved Belle, I purchased the car in Summer 2005 for $400 from my buddy Karl, after it was originally gonna be a parts / scrap car. I needed it as some transport since my 95 Grand Prix lost its trans. The car is quite beat but still runs never the less... the shocker to everyone...
This OD has NOT rolled over... that is actual mileage!!!! The previous owner (some dumb kid) beat the living piss out of it. Lens where broken, windshield has cracks, hood and fender where screwed up, wiring inside was an enemy. But somehow it runs. lol.
This is the car now as I have it.
- 86 Aries (Ashley) hood and front driverside fender repainted
- 88 Reliant Wagon driverside door
- 86 Reliant (Lindsay) tan front and rear bench seats
- Bottom half of car repainted with flat black TruckBed Coating
- Now has a cheap CD player in it
Here is the door story...
On Sept 30, 2005... I was on my way home from a friends house, when a drunk driver with no headlights on at 12 at night drifted into my lane and hit my once was Euro mirror on my driverside door. The mirror slammed into my window and blew it out. Needless to say I bout shit myself! The junkyard wanted $150 for a door and like $120 some for the window... we said fuck it.. and picked up a pretty beat 1988 Plymouth Reliant K Wagon SE for $50. We have been at it for years to get this damn car and so we got it.. and I got my new door. :)
After some cleanup... the Euro Mirror which was attached using RTV Sealant LOL! The taillight is made up of a old 2Litre Coke Bottle and some Red Tape! I love my creativity.. its still on there today!!!!!
This was back before I bought the car, when our friends younger brother decided to do a reverse donut with the car in a field and destroyed the CV Axle. Karl had kept the original seats, and his old ones from his brown paint faded 86 Reliant went in there instead.
