1978 LINCOLN Continental Town Car

* at the time, the Town Car was an expensive option package based upon the already expensive Continental 4 door sedan, hence this was Lincoln's top-of-the-range 4 door model; the Town Car did NOT become a separate model until the 1980s.

I finally have this car in my own buildings and have given her a thorough cleaning. These old images do NOT do the car justice. I hope to take some more in October 2007.

Basically, this car looks almost brand new. I'm very, very pleased with her.

This is the first of Hemichrysler's 70s cars, definitely a keeper. I hope to commence a collection of 70s luxury monsters as circumstances allow.
