These are cars that I've owned in the past. My first car was a 1974 Plymouth Fury III. The Fury in the picture below left belonged to one of my friends. Mine was White, with Tan roof, and Tan interior. I was underaged when I baught it, and my folks made me get rid of it.

My second car was a 1974 Toyota Celica that I quickly destroyed. It was a pretty good looking little car when I first got it.

After the 74 Celica, I enlisted in the Army and went to Bremerhaven, Germany. I picked up a 1978 Celica for $500.00.

After my tour of Germany, I came home and purchased a 1985 Pontiac Grand Am for $5,000.00. That was in 1988. By the end of the year, I had traded in the Grand Am on a 1985 Buick Somerset Regal (Below), reenlisted, and went back to Germany.

Along with the Buick, I picked up a 1975 Opel Escona for $ 500.00. (Below) Great little car. Easy to work on.

Before leaving Germany, I sold the Buick and Opel, and picked up a 1977 Chevy Impala. It was a lot of fun rolling around Germany in something that big.

It took a while for my Impala to get back to the states, so I picked up this 1983 Chevy Malibu for $800.00 to get around. I sold it a month or two after picking up the Impala from the port, and after buying a 1975 Cordoba for $500.00.

I was alittle nervous when I purchased the Cordoba, (Below), because I'd never owned a car with so meny miles (over 180,000), but she was a great car. She had over 240,000 on her when I sold her 5 years later before reporting to Korea for a year.

I got this for my wife. It is an 88 or 89 Chevy Cavalier. I can't remember. Not really my kind of car.

I purchased this 1985 Ford LTD from my perents. We put a tow hitch on it and used it to haul the Cavalier from Ft. Jackson, SC, to Columbus, Ohio. Later we bought a 1969 Hi-Lo trailer in the same two tone color for camping trips.

Below is the fleet prior to leaving South Carolina.

Below, 1991 Chevy Caprice Classic. We had this car for a few years. Not very dependable. I traded it in on a 1997 Toyota Corolla that I can't find a photo of. I would have to say that was the most dependable car I've had, but it was my one and only lease, so after 5 years, I returned her. She made someone a great used car.

Below, 1978 Dodge Diplomat. The body and interior looked pretty good, but it had a lot of rust undernaeth. I think I got this car for $400.00. I just always wanted one.

Below, 1987 Dodge Omni. My brother found this car at an auction. It was 10 years old with around 30,000 miles. It looked like it had never been out of a garage. Nice little car.

I still have this 1979 Datsun 510 Wagon. Rust is eating her up, and she has a lot of bugs I've got to work out.

Below is my 1983 Mercedes Benz 300TD. I've had this car for 6 years. Great car.

Back in 2001, by brother and wife surprised me with this beautiful low mileage 1978 Cadillac Eldorado. I had it about a month before blowing the engine. I ended up giving the car to charity.

The 1976 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham since returning from Iraq in 2004. She has over 116,000 miles on the 400 ci engine, and runs great.

Below is the 2001 Suzuki XL-7, purchased new in late 2001. It has been a good, dependable ride.

Below are somy copies of Chrysler Corporation's ads for the New Yorker Brougham from 1976.

Below: Proud daddy with his two girls. June 2005.
Next to that, a shot from Dec 2001. The car is aging much better than me.

The picture below was taken in May 1983, at a place called Hubcap Heaven. I believe it was in Hollywood, Florida. With the popularity of rims these days I doubt if any of these places still exist. Note the hub cap that cought my eye the most.
