what went bang.
the cam chainlash eadjuster (??) had a chunk fall off of it. lucky its bakelite not alloy cos i dont know where it is. apparentley this is common.

rocker cover gasket had a small leak in it and made a smokey mess, fixed

brake pedal has a loose patch at the top

car seems strong on the road at this stage but the engine isnt run in yet so i havn't given it a real flogging yet.

melted a pad off aug July 06
