This golf kart was handed to me stock.
First we changed wheels with another wrecked kart. This was the start of a monster being born. We needed paint badly... so black it goes. The stock engine was weak and a joke in the off-road world. Before we could add any power we had to make room. So I tore apart my wifes motorcycle ( a 1981 Kawasaki KZ 650),"with her permission of coarse." Then I extended the rear forks 25" longer than the stock forks. Built my own motor mounts, and dropped in an engine with a little more power.

Ignore the haters; it's ideas like this that founded the a great deal of car companies. Take something not that great and tune it and rebuild it. Look at Shelby Mustangs.
